About This Project
The Duomo di Milano, or Milan Cathedral, was built over several decades, from 1386 to completion in 1965. It is the largest cathedral in the Roman republic and sits at the most central point in Milan. Its contrasting architectural styles draw thousands of tourists daily into its doors and onto its roof for close-up views of its delicate and intricate work.
